Chapter 01

Before

I worked in manufacturing. Long shifts, real work, the kind of job that doesn't care what you look like as long as the line keeps moving. I didn't grow up playing sports. I didn't get the size I have now until later on in life — and that's the part most people get wrong about me right away. They see the frame and assume there was always a frame. There wasn't.

For most of my adult life, training was just the part of the day I built everything else around. Not for a sport. Not for anyone watching. Just for me. It was the thing that made the rest of the day feel earned.

People started asking. At the gym, in line at the store, at family stuff. You a trainer? I always said no. Without thinking. It wasn't false modesty — I just hadn't thought of myself that way. I lifted weights. That was my thing. I didn't need to make it anyone else's.

Chapter 02

The Frame

"One morning I was at Dick's Sporting Goods and an older couple asked me if I was a trainer. I said no. And immediately knew it was the last time."

I think about that couple all the time. They were probably going to walk out of that store without a plan. Maybe they'd start something. Maybe they wouldn't. Maybe one of them needed someone in their corner — and I had just been that person and said no on instinct.

That sat with me the entire drive home. It sat with me for weeks. It's still sitting with me, in the best way. Every client I work with now is someone I would have said no to a year ago. The work is the opposite of that reflex.

Chapter 03

The Method

I picked The Rock as my brand match. Not for the size. For the way he talks about his own flaws on camera without flinching. That's the part of coaching nobody talks about — you have to be the first person in the room willing to show what's broken. Otherwise your clients keep hiding theirs, and hiding is where progress dies.

My method is built on five floors: sleep, protein, steps, water, and four sessions a week. We don't talk about anything fancy until those five floors are stable. That's not a marketing line — that's the program.

Everything else is variation. The Signal program puts twelve weeks against the foundation. The Operator track goes six months and adds composition, performance, and identity work. The branding, the check-ins, the cues, the encouragement — all of it points at one outcome: confidence in yourself. That's the only metric I actually care about.
